The DPS Pisteworks 89 leads Group 1 in engineering distinction. DPS uses two full sheets of aerospace-grade carbon fiber — not carbon stringers or partial carbon reinforcement — sandwiched on the top and bottom of each wood core. This is the same construction approach DPS has refined over 20 years of carbon ski development. At 1,850g, the Pisteworks 89 is the second-lightest ski in Group 1, and the only one built entirely around carbon as the primary structural material. Every ski is pressed, shaped, and finished in-house at DPS's Salt Lake City factory — a few miles from Alta and some of the most demanding terrain in North America.

The Pisteworks 89 is built for medium-to-high speeds and short-to-mid radius turns. The 16m turn radius and 89mm waist deliver a precise, energetic carving experience on groomed terrain, with enough width to handle variable and off-piste conditions with confidence. Full-suspension carbon damping keeps the ski planted and responsive across changing snow. The Phantom Glide factory base treatment provides fast, low-maintenance glide without additional waxing preparation.
